Namasta Conner has been painting, sculpting, crafting and drawing since childhood. She grew up on the Central Coast, then moved to San Francisco to attend college and get involved in its thriving art scene. She received her art education at City College of San Francisco and Cuesta College. Her work has been shown in the Bay Area and San Luis Obispo. She loves working with mixed media because of its versatility, and loves bringing arts and crafts together with fine art. She works mainly with acrylic paint, collage and charcoal, but for this project she has chosen spray paint as her medium to add authenticity to her chosen concept piece. Namasta returned to the Central Coast eight years ago, and is excited and honored to be a part of this unique exhibition and hopes to find more like it in the future. She currently resides in Templeton with her husband and two young daughters.
