The Fourth Annual Morro Bay Surfboard Art Festival is going on now! The surfboard art pieces will be on exhibit (and for sale!) at local sponsoring businesses and restaurants through-out Morro Bay and SLO County through the end of November. MBSAF concludes with the Surf Art Sale on Saturday, December 2nd from 10am-4pm at The Inn at Morro Bay.
These amazing works of art are created by local central coast artists, who transform donated, re-purposed, surfboards into beautiful works of art. The sale proceeds of this artwork help support Morro Bay in Bloom, a community volunteer organization dedicated to the beautification of Morro Bay.
MBSAF is produced by Morro Bay in Bloom, a non-profit, all-volunteer civic group whose focus is to beautify public areas according to the America in Bloom model of widespread use of floral displays, landscaped areas, urban forestry, environmental stewardship, historic preservation and public art with community involvement. Sale proceeds help support the artists and act as a fundraiser for MBIB.
